The Englefield Estate is based in the west of the county of Berkshire. It is typical of an English estate. It has around 14,000 acres being a mixture of deciduous woodland, old parkland, arable & dairy farms.
In this film we follow a year with Head Keeper Wavell Wilson who has worked on this estate for over 30 years. As well as running a very successful pheasant shoot, Wavell manages a large herd of Fallow Deer and controls the vermin and the wild deer population.
